Here is the official release of Asphodel6 Engine 1.0.0. This download includes the source AND compiled version. Pay attention to the License.txt included within the download!

Please report all bugs in the appropriate forum :D Thank you.

Asphodel6 Engine is released as-is with no guarentees of service.
This project is Public Domain with modified licensing. By opening
any of the folders included with this License.txt you agree to the
following:

1) The original owner (Asphodel Games) is to remain the advertised
owner of this source. You are not allowed to claim any of the
materials released with this project as your own.

2) Any modifications relating to project fixes are to be posted
within the www.asphodelgames.com forums under the appropriate
forum.

3) This project package's License.txt must be included with any
and all releases of this product. You are allowed to host
yourself, but include this License.txt with EVERY sub-release you
may make (including products made with this engine (ie games)).

Hey, its me iAsian, just wondering if you knew how to fix a problem I have. Well, when i try to run 'Server', it give me an error message about Msinet.ocx or something, and please don't reply saying 'search it', 'google it', or 'google is your friend'.

LOLOLOL sorry for being a dumbass >.< found out i had to run it in compatability mode in Windows XP! :D so yea, will you post a tut for mapping? i have a black screen ._.

I didn't download this version but it's probably similar to the the Alpha I had.

Start by opening the Server and Client.
Log in with the Client then go to your Server.
Go to Player, right click your name, Give/Make Admin.
Go to client and type "/admin"
Type "/acp" now you see all the stuff you can do.

There you can edit map, items, npc and all stuff like that.

Not allowing users to view the license unless they have already read it is rather silly. I mean I don't think you would be sliding some sneaky thing under the table, but to be professional, putting the license up here would be a better idea.

Either way, WOO it's out!

Well yeah, I guess so.
To read the license, you have to read the license first.
So you have to agree to the first license before you can agree to the second license. XD

Anyway, this is just my opinion. When you release a new version, instead of wait to have all the bugs fixes or features done to release it, just write a tutorial and people can add those features while they work on the game so the situation won't happen.

Worked 3 months on Asphodel6 Engine 1.0.0
Added my own features and stuff.
Asphodel6 Engine 2.0.0 came out.
Delete the 1.0.0 and download 2.0.0 then start over.

Or, you can make a built-in converter to convert the data on loading to make sure they are the same version as the engine else, they'll convert them.

I still think if you make a add-on features(tutorials) as optional so that users can add this and exclude that on their own is a better idea.
